How to Learn English Faster

Make sure you will find a lot of helpful tips to improve your basic English proficiency as follow:

     1. Don’t be afraid to make mistake.

Be confident. People can only correct your mistakes when they hear you make them. Mistakes you have made in the learning phase, make it as a lesson to practice in the next stage. ignore grammatical problems, how to write in the correct of spelled English, and how to read according to the pronunciation correctly. The most important things is if you have a strong determination to learn English, love anything that it is all about English. It is like you have been crazy about English, such as you start to like watching English movies, English songs, English news, and articles in English. Use English whenever you can. It’s as simple as that!

   2. Surround yourself in English.

Put yourself in an all English speaking environment where you can learn passively. The best way to learn is through speaking.  If you have limited expenses to add English speaking courses such as in English language training center, you can try the way I have done. In early I learned to speak English, I started by practicing directly with the native speakers through skype, facebook, yahoo messenger and other applications that have voice call services. Then, through the application I added new friends from America, Singapore, Australia and UK to speak in English from the most basic level to the present like right now. The results are not inferior to my friends who are studying in English language training courses and needed cost a lot too much. Besides, you can learn directly to practice English with your English teacher in your school, or with your friends who are more fluent in English than you. of course, they will be able to correct your grammar and pronunciation in English. Make sure you get used to saying and ending the conversation like to express in thanking, asking for help, praising, offering help, picking up and calling the phone, ordering or booking something, asking prices and apologizing. They are basic expressions who want to increase English skill.

    3. Practise everyday.

Make yourself a study plan. Decide how much time a week you are going to spend studying and stick to it. Establish a routine. Studying English for an hour once a week isn’t usually enough to make any real progress. The best way to quickly improve your English is to spend at least a few minutes practicing every day. Immerse yourself as much as possible every time you study, and challenge yourself to listen to, read, and even say things in English that you think might be too difficult for you. If you want to speak English fluently, you need to make it an essential part of your everyday life.

    4. Reading and writing.

The best way to get on top of the English language is to read regularly. Whether that involves curling up with a good novel, grabbing the daily newspaper or reading magazines (preferably reputable ones such as Time or National Geographic) is entirely up to you. As long as you’re regularly digesting new words and language, your English is bound to improve. In addition to reading, try doing some writing of your own; keep an online blog, submit articles to journals and websites or maybe have a crack at penning a novel. Even if no one reads your work, this allows you to experiment with language and improve your vocabulary and syntax. In this case, Classic literature, paperbacks, newspapers, websites, emails, your social media feed, cereal boxes: if it’s in English, read it. Why? Well, this content will be full of juicy new vocabulary, as well as a fair amount you already know. This helps you improve quickly, as re-exposure to learned vocabulary gives you new examples in context, therefore reinforcing those words in your mind. On the other hand, learning new words and expressions is essential to building your vocabulary, particularly in a language like English with so many words!

   5. Begin at your present level.

If your level of vocabulary level is high, start at the highest level where you recognize and understand every word put before you. If your vocabulary is small, work gradually to improve in constant, small steps. A dictionary is a good resource for learning and mastering English words. You don't have to read it cover to cover, just pick out a few words that interest you and learn how to use the properly. Alternatively, try an encyclopedia. Another hand, you can use digital or online dictionary by using Appstore in your mobile. If you got words and start to recognize them, try to listen the correct prunounciation and you repeat it. Do you watch TV shows or YouTube videos in English? Use them to improve your fluency. Choose a short part of a show and repeat it line by line. Try to match the tone, speed and even the accent (if you can). It doesn’t matter if you miss a few words, the important thing is to keep talking. Try to sound just like the native speakers on the show.
6.
             6. Focus on fluency, not grammar.
When you speak in English, how often do you stop? The more you stop, the less confident you sound and the less comfortable you become. Try the mirror exercise above, but challenge yourself to speak without stopping or stammering (taking pauses between your words) the entire time. This might mean that your sentences won’t be grammatically perfect, and that’s okay! If you focus on speaking fluently instead of correctly, you’ll still be understood and you’ll sound better. You can fill in the correct grammar and word rules as you learn them better.
